‘Catholic’s Divorce Survival Guide’ to start in Brewer on March 1

BREWER – The Catholic Divorce Survival Guide is a 12-week program starting Monday, March 1st at 6:00 pm at St. Joseph Church at 531 North Main Street in Brewer.

Whether you divorced 10 days ago or 10 years ago, this program, based on the teachings of the Catholic Church, provides valuable insight for anyone seeking comfort, advice, and clarity. It has DVD presentations and discussions every week covering a range of topics. With the help of professional advisers, theologians and priests, divorced and separated Catholics are led from pain and loneliness to hope and healing.

Practical advice meets spiritual growth through the sacraments, the teachings of the Church, and the wisdom of experts and others who have suffered through divorce. In addition, participants learn how to cope with the emotional upheaval of separation and divorce. learn how to navigate new financial problems; Address issues of forgiveness, family, and new relationships; and gain an understanding of the meaning and purpose of the cancellation process. As participants experience this pastoral program, their lives will be rejuvenated, their hope restored, and their faith in Christ and his Church renewed.

Face masks are required; All state and diocesan security protocols are followed. The cost is US $ 20 per person (no fee for those who cannot afford it) and includes a “personal survival guide” and all materials for the 12 weeks.
